Billi Mucklow ‘happier than ever’ and thinks Andy Carroll ‘learned his lesson’

New husband-wife duo Billi Mucklow and Andy Carroll appear to be a picture of wedded bliss as they enjoy their romantic Mexican honeymoon.

The ex-TOWIE star, 34, and the former England footballer, 33, who tied the knot earlier this month, can’t seem to keep their hands off each other as they share a kiss on the busy streets of Tulum.

Now a source close to the couple has told exclusively OK! This reality star yoga teacher Billi feels she made the right decision by marrying her footballer husband after his questionable bachelor party antics surfaced in Dubai.

“Billi feels defiant. She definitely made the right decision with the wedding, she didn’t want to let what happened ruin the day,” our source said.

“Andy has learned his lesson. It won’t happen again and he’s putting Billi first from now on.”

Billi – who shares three children with the Geordie forward – was reportedly in crisis talks after photos were released showing him drunk in bed next to blonde Taylor Jane Wilkey.

A source tells OK! last month that Billi felt “utterly embarrassed” and “humiliated” by the recent revelation and that her friends had encouraged her to cancel her big day.

Nonetheless, the two performed their hotel wedding in Hampshire earlier this month, with our source now revealing that Billi is now feeling “happier than ever”.

“The honeymoon reminded them why they fell in love in the first place,” they continued. “They have been together for years and this time around that romance will be rekindled.

“They are so in love with each other. They enjoy their honeymoon and leave it behind. She feels happier than ever.”

After news of Andy’s antics in Dubai broke, Billi – who is also a stepmother to his two older children from a previous relationship – reportedly deleted all traces of her future husband from her WhatsApp profile and changed her picture from a snap of him to one of hers Children.

Taylor, one of the blondes in question, told The Sun last month that she and Carroll passed out after drinking next to the West Bromwich player for 12 hours, but said the photos were a joke and nothing sexual had happened between them.

“There were three of us in the room,” she admitted. “It was a full day and night of alcohol. Andy was steaming. We were all drunk. We went back to Andy’s suite and we played music and he went to bed and passed out. I was there with my boyfriend until the early hours and took the photo for fun.”
