With the release of a brand new PUBG: Battlegrounds Update comes an extended server maintenance for Xbox and PlayStation consoles. But once it’s ready, update 18.1 will be available with some brand new content.
If you’re working on PC, no downtime is expected this week as Update 18.1 was already deployed to the platform last week. But console users will later find the game’s servers offline for a total of 7 hours. Check out the full server maintenance schedule below to find out when you can jump back in.

PUBG: Battlegrounds Server Downtime Schedule On June 15th
As confirmed by the officially PUBG: Battlegrounds Support Twitter accountserver maintenance begins for update 18.1 release on Wednesday 15 June 2022 at 9 p.m. PT. This will be the case for other parts of the world Thursday 16 June 2022 at 00:00 ET / 05:00 BST / 06:00 CEST / 13:00 KST.
The servers are expected to be offline for a total of 7 hours; During this time, players will not be able to login and play PUBG on Xbox and PlayStation consoles. Downtime is only for the console version of PUBG: BattlegroundsPC gamers should not experience any connection issues during this time.
Once the servers come back online, players will be prompted to download a new patch that will include all of the new content from Update 18.1.

Details about PUBG: Battlegrounds Update 18.1
Although the game’s servers will be offline for an extended period of time, it’s worth the wait.
Update 18.1 includes a number of server fixes, item balancing, the start of a new ranked season, and more. But most importantly, there are some big map changes. As reported in the official patch notes, the following changes will be made in Update 18.1:
PARAMO SUB UPDATE
- Added steep cliffs and scenery to certain mountains near Capaco to prevent players from climbing to the top.
- Added additional rocks and cover to certain areas such as the Laboratory and Atahul.
- Vehicle slots have been added near Makalpa.
- Added additional rock pillars and copings to historical sites near Makalpa.
- A new spiral fountain object has been added and scattered throughout Paramo.
- Removed the B.Duck update from Sanhok.
