A brave duck trying to prove his mettle in a lost world
This is Avenis, a mysterious land of treasure and bloodshed. On his journey through Avenis, Duck Boy will jump, swing, dodge and go where he pleases. Nobody knows how many different weapons he can master or how much power his flute has! With a little help from friendly creatures and ancient scrolls, Duck Boy learns many different spells to cast with his flute. He will also acquire a variety of weapons and accessories throughout his adventure, potentially changing his fighting style and strategy.
Duck Boy’s secret weapon: The Magic Flute
The flute’s magical score holds the key to Avenis’ secrets. Rumor has it that by playing the right music, you can communicate with the whole world. Some songs have the power to restore life; others are bursting with sizzling energy, letting Duck Boy go on the offensive. He often has to think hard about how to move forward, as the way forward is not always clear and magic songs can have more than one application. Duck Boy will use up his energy playing the flute, so it’s important to finish the song before it’s completely depleted. The enemies will not make it easy for him!
Different enemies, different landscapes
The world contains a wide variety of environments and landscapes, as the curse of corruption manifests in unique ways on different enemies. Duck Boy will fight in ten different locations including Ever-Autumn Forest, Forgotten Grave and Poisoned Ruins. Each location has a unique ecology with a diverse collection of cursed creatures. In order to restore the land, Duck Boy must also defeat the bosses guarding each location – the Eidolons – beware of these giants!
