Chase Elliott has been doing his first laps since suffering a leg injury a few weeks ago. Josh Berry remains on call just in case.
Bubba Wallace hit the wall with his right front in training.
Shortly before qualifying, Tyler Reddick is fastest in qualifying. He turned a lap time of 20.217 seconds.
For the first qualifying round, the field will be divided into two groups. The top 5 of each group advance to the final round.
Chase Elliott clipped the wall in Round 1 of his qualifying session. Michael McDowell also marked the wall.
