Popular Chess Twitch streamer Alexandra Botez asked YouTuber Michelle Khare about her boxing experience prior to her fight against Andrea Botez in Creator Clash 2. Alexandra’s feelings were captured during an April 14, 2023 livestream as she addressed the controversy surrounding the influencer boxing case.
She mentioned Andrea Botez’s YouTube video titled “Great boxing drama‘ and claimed that the latter was ‘polite, kind and understanding’ in it. Alexandra Botez then mentioned that before the match on Creator Clash 2, the two influencers spoke on the phone and shared their boxing experiences.
According to Alexandra Botez, both Andrea and Michelle said they were beginners. The latter, however, “hidden” the fact that she had been boxing for a year. The chess grandmaster claimed Michelle Khare “misled” Andrea Botez, stating:
“For me, that was misleading. I think it’s okay if you don’t give all the facts when you make a phone call. Especially when people put their bodies at risk. It’s one thing to push people in chess. It’s another to push them where they can get physically hurt.”
Alexandra Botez comments on the boxing controversy between Andrea Botez and Michelle Khare
Alexandra Botez addressed the controversy two days before Creator Clash 2. After 22 minutes of her broadcast, she quoted the video by Andrea Botez mentioned above and remarked:
“Andrea is an extremely sweet person in this video. i am the older sister You know, some people on the internet say that I’ve been one of Andrea’s best influences. Some people even say that I partially raised them. Other People’s Words. Not mine. So, I want to talk a little bit about the damage that was done to my son. OK?”
The American-Canadian personality revealed that Andrea Botez and Michelle Khare had a phone call before deciding to fight each other at the event:
“That’s my interpretation of it. Andrea was nothing but polite and kind and understanding and made decisions when in doubt. Andrea and Michelle had a phone call when they decided to play on Creator Clash. Andrea shared her experience. Obviously, she had done chessboxing and she said she was a beginner.”
Alexandra Botez said that Michelle Khare did not mention that she had a year of boxing experience, despite claiming to be a beginner:
“Michelle also said she was a beginner. She left out the fact that she has been boxing for a year. Andrea only recently found that out. How did she find out? that. Someone sent her a clip from a podcast so long ago where Michelle was talking about it.

Moving on, the 28-year-old streamer shared details of what Michelle said when Andrea Botez confronted her:
“And you know, when Andrea called Michelle and asked about it, and Michelle was like, ‘Oh, you know. It’s on the internet.’ It’s a clip and they had a call.”
After Alexandra Botez claimed Michelle Khare was “misleading,” she added that the situation was “not cool”:
“I understand people saying, ‘Oh, it’s public!’ But when you’re on the phone you should be straight ahead! Well I don’t think that’s cool. I don’t. Anyway, that’s my interpretation. Maybe it wasn’t the case. But… I do I don’t want Andrea to get hurt, and I want things to be fair, but it’s too late now.”
