DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Advance Auto Parts will be honored with the 2022 Marketing Achievement Award Thursday at the NASCAR Industry Awards reception during NASCAR Champion’s Week in Nashville.
In its third season as an Official Partner, Advance has demonstrated its commitment to grassroots sport, supporting riders and tracks in local communities across the United States and Canada.
Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series eligibility partner, Advance, most recently partnered with the NASCAR Drive for Diversity Driver Development Combine to develop new storytelling opportunities and help stream the event live for the first time in the program’s history .

For a second season, Advance promoted the Advance My Track Challenge, which focused on local racetracks and communities to raise awareness and celebrate grassroots sport. Through a consumer voting program, the organization presented Jennerstown (Pa.) Speedway with a $50,000 prize and distributed 6,000 free-entry tickets to local Advance stores to celebrate the speedway.
“Since becoming an official partner, Advance Auto Parts has been a huge supporter of the grassroots sport, has raised awareness for local racing communities and provided young drivers with an opportunity to showcase their talent,” said Michelle Byron, NASCAR vice president of partnership marketing. “Following the 2022 Advance Auto Parts Drive for Diversity Combine, we’re excited to see what comes next as they continue to find creative ways to expand their presence in the sport.”
To conclude the year, Advance served as the primary sponsor of the NASCAR Drive for Diversity Driver Development Combine and continued to expand its presence in the sport. Advance was on site throughout the event, capturing content as the operators prepared for and participated in the combine. Through their sponsorship, the company gave NASCAR an opportunity to judge additional drivers for the combine as the league also selected additional winners compared to previous years.
