After the first season of COLORS unleashed an unstoppable torrent of entertainment, Dance Deewane Juniors ended with outstanding performances from the juniors – All Stars, Prateek Kumar Naik, Geet Kaur Bagga and Aditya Vinod Patil. For weeks, audiences witnessed the journey of many young dance prodigies from promising candidates to absolute rock stars as they showcased their immense dancing talents. After thirteen weeks of fierce competition, numerous scintillating performances and many duels for the trophy, Aditya Vinod Patil was crowned the season one winner. The prized trophy was presented to Aditya by judges Neetu Kapoor and Marzi Pestonji in the presence of guest of honor Aamir Khan, who took the opportunity to talk about his upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha.

Dance Deewane Juniors got off to a flying start as the graceful Neetu Kapoor, powerhouse of talent Nora Fatehi and superb choreographer and dancer Marzi Pestonji took over the judging panel, mentoring and guiding the contestants on their journey. Their contagious chemistry coupled with Karan Kundrra’s antics turned every episode around Dance Deewane Juniors to a strong entertainer.
8-year-old Aditya got off to a great start thanks to his flexible dance performances and immediately established himself as one of the season’s brightest contenders. His incredible dance performances led by mentor Pratik Utekar caught the attention of all the judges, especially Neetu Kapoor who admired him greatly. Aditya experienced his share of setbacks throughout his journey, but he got better with every performance on stage. Famous for naming his six-pack abs after action superstar Tiger Shroff’s films, Aditya also won millions of hearts with his infectious smile.

I didn’t just want to win this title for myself, but also for my parents and grandparents, who supported me along the way and stood by my side like a rock. This will be like a breakthrough in my life and I want to make the most of it. I will never forget this journey and will always pursue my passion for dance.”

Produced by Frames Production, it delivered an unstoppable flow of entertainment in its incredible finale episodes, which saw this season’s top contenders at their absolute best.
In addition to some outstanding performances and memorable moments, the final weekend was a top-class spectacle. The semi-final was graced by shamshera Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Vaani Kapoor. The grand finale episode saw the presence of superstar Aamir Khan, who came to promote his upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha. One of the many specials was when Ranbir Kapoor paid a heartfelt tribute to the late legendary Shammi Kapoor, Shashi Kapoor and his father Rishi Kapoor. He was joined for the first time on Indian television by the timeless beauty of his mother and judge Neetu Kapoor. Ranbir also shared his infamous childhood memories which divided everyone. He later surprised Neetu’s “Chota Ranbir” candidate Prateek Kumar Naik by presenting him with his signed cap.
On the night of the finale, Aamir Khan’ was greeted by the protagonists of Nima Denzongpa, Sasural Simar Ka 2, Muskuraane Ki Vajah Tum Ho, Harphoul Mohini‘Naagin 6’ and ‘Parineetii’. The Laal Singh Chadda The actor explained that he was a big fan of Neetu Kapoor and recalled how his uncle directed their first film. Aamir Khan and Neetu Kapoor shook the dance floor to the former’s smash hit song “Aati Kya Khandala” and got the whole crowd cheering for them. He also grooved with the youngsters and their mentors to ‘Dhinka Chika‘. As the final approached a breathtaking climax, Aamir Khan joined the judges in presenting the trophy to the winner.
