100′ narrator? Inside the show

In September 2021, the world almost imploded when Netflix dropped its scripted drama Squid Game. The South Korean survival series received critical acclaim and won multiple awards the following year.

With all Squid GameGiven the success of , it’s not surprising that Netflix chose to use similar concepts in future shows. In January 2023, the streamer released a reality challenge show that retained some of the same themes as its fictional predecessor.

The show, Physical: 100She challenges 100 participants to test their physical limits to answer the question, “Who has the perfect body?”

While not everyone will make it through the entire season, fans can expect one constant on the show – its narrator. Throughout each episode, the narrator’s strong and engaging voice entices the audience to keep coming back. Read on to find out everything we know about the narrator behind it Physical: 100.

Physical: 100 debuted on Netflix on January 24, 2023 with the first two episodes. During the first scene, b-roll footage of the challenges played while the narrator explained the premise of the competition. Almost immediately, the voice set the tone of the show with phrases like “only the most persistent will win.” [the match]’ and telling viewers that ‘in the end there is only one body left’ to be crowned Physical: 100 Winner.

As the episodes progressed, the narrator became another cast member, and some fans wanted to know more about the actor behind the sophisticated voice. A viewer tweeted voice actors Kaiji from Tang and asked if he was Physical: 100 Teller. Kaiji is best known for his voiceover roles in video games Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Ghostbusters: Ghost UnleashedAnd River City Girls 2.

“Senpai, I have a question,” user Kaiji asked on Twitter. “You wouldn’t happen to be the narrator in the trailer for Physical: 100 on Netflix, would you?”

Kaiji never responded to the fan’s question, but it looks like he didn’t Physical: 100 Teller. The actor’s IMDb has no votes for the show, and he hasn’t promoted the series at all since it debuted.

While we can assume Kaiji isn’t the narrator, that’s all the news we have. The show’s credits aren’t in English, which has made it difficult for many fans to figure out who it could be. Physical: 100‘s IMDb also doesn’t list a narrator credit, although it did add some of the show’s cast, including Sung-Bin Yun, Hyunseung Cha and Miracle Nelson.

Ever since the show aired, daredevil lovers have been raving about it via TikTok. Unsurprisingly, many compared Physical: 100 To Squid Gamewith Netflix Korea noting that the series is like “watching”. Squid Game all over again.”
